i truly respect all transportation people. i am a truck operator and i NEVER TRY BEATING A TRAIN. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

So, so sad. My fiance is a conductor for CN (IC). I've heard from several guys that their biggest fear is a toss up between tanker and school bus. Please always stop look and listen. Its so easy but so taken for granted. And its a RESPONSIBILITY we owe to these guys that risk their lives daily...

My dad worked for the wc and he now works for the Cn as an engineer and all his life he has killed some people now and then but not this bad

Back in 1972-3 one of my cousins was killed driving a concrete truck,,figured the air brakes went out ,,Which back then was probably the cause ,,,alot of people don't know ,how these things work ,,some was really poor ,,Some semi'shad air start and even Air steer

My brother barely lived through a similar accident. 70 mph on the U.P. and a semi got in front of them :(. I am so sorry that the worst happened here for everyone involved and their families. This is a nightmare. I worked through Enid this year on the BNSF and no one told me of this incident.
