The conversation between Jimmy and Bob Daisley continues. Bob shares the inner working behind developing the material on Blizzard of Ozz, and working with Randy and Ozzy. Bob tells about Lee Kerslake's arrival and his role within the band, and how the "Blizzard of Ozz" band unexpectedly became "The Ozzy Osbourne Group". Bob reveals details concerning the track "I Don't Know", and Bob's method for constructing lyrics to fit Ozzy's vocal melody ideas. The talk proceeds to explore the arrangement style used for the songs, and Bob tells about consturcting the solo sections with Randy. Jeez, I love the lyric to Believer "Imagination like a bird on a wing - flying free for you to use" it changed my life - I always thought Ozzy wrote it and all the lyrics - Rock and Roll is a filthy business - just listen to Sharon's language

That is what the O$bourne propaganda machine wants you to believe,... Ozzy just moves his mouth,... it's all Bob Dailsey's words and ideas that you love, not Ozzy's.

And of course there is nothing wrong with hiring an ace lyricist to write material for you,... but when you rip the guy off and then discredit him,.. WFT!!!

Bob supplied 99% of the lyrics for Ozzy to sing.... as the song says: "Don't you know what it's really about?",.. well, now you do. - Thanks for the comments!

You have to love the irony that Ozzy took the heat for the kids that killed themselves to the song 'Suicide Solution' and Ozzy was accused of inciting this by 'his' lyrics and Ozzy had to take the heat or say that Bob Daisley wrote the song.
