  • To everyone one who is saying it was getting worked to hard, hickstead wouldn't of jumped them big fences if he didn't want to! And im no vet but I have a funny feeling (not lituraly a haha feeling but he might have strained to hard over a fence and poped his blood vessel :(

BTW THERE IS NOTHING TO LOL AT, IMAGINE IF IT WAS UR BEST FRIEND IN THE SCHOOL YARD WHO JUST COLLAPSED AND DIED, IT WOULDN'T BE FUNNY THEN WOULD IT?

  • @TheHorsecrazy1 Isn't it amazing how some people can be so mean and hateful?

This horse died because his aorta ruptured. It definitely happens randomly, as we cannot look at the heart or the veins/arteries near the heart. An ultrasound/xray can't even see through the lungs, muscle and bone surrounding the heart. There is no way to know that this is happening before it is actually happening. I feel so bad for Eric. I have had horses die, but never shockingly. Poor thing.

  • @JGenzale you are such a fucking prick!! you know what i hope all the top riders one day see this and come find you because you are an insensitive arsehole these horses are not forced you couldnt force a competition fit animal like this to do anything! your a wanker go die!

  • R.I.P so tragic for an amazing horse! :(

  • rip:'( we'll miss u

  • @gregercpolof, it's not just a horse. He was an extremely smart and beloved creature. The people who think a horse is "just a horse" are just dumbasses. Eric loved that horse, and so do we all. He was an amazing horse who will be remembered forever. You, however, are an idiot.

  • @JGenzale How many stories do you know are deffinaltely true?

Jockey's in horse racing use methods like that! Could I just say horses can refuse at anything they what, the jumpers don't lift them off the ground, the horse does it themselves.

What am I lying about? have you got any evidence that Im lying about it... no because there's nothing to lie about! please respond I would love to see your answer

  • @TheHorsecrazy1

Who do you think you're kidding? These horses are used to earn money and win titles. Most of these jockeys or whatever they are called doesn't give a rats ass about their horses. They have hired people who work with the horses 24/7, and they just compete with them.

And these horses are forced to this whether they want to or not. I've heard dozens of stories of horses being "forced" with electric shocks and other nasty methods to make high jumps. Stop lying and face reality

  • @heratjuh Hickstead died of a ruptured aorta that led to heart failure. There was no way Eric could have seen that comming.

  • that poor animal

    !

so he was the best spinger but i dont think he likes it that animal word himself to his own dead! those horses are always on training and i think people need think about that that sometimes it's not going as planned..
