I just saw this a few days ago Gina :L I thought it was entertaining but not entirely great. I thought the ending where he flew toward the sun was abit to easy, you're telling me nobody thought of that but him? Also I would've preferred a massive fight of all green lanterns to kill the Galactus impostor cuz that's what it was right? Also is there a sequel coming since they made that FEAR RING? Good luck franchise :p

@dreamslides Yeah, I thought Sinestro was pretty lame for only bringing a handful of lanterns to fight battles when he had 3,000+ at his disposal but apparently they were all so uncreative that they would have perished so....oy.

I haven't watched it yet but I've heard the reviews mostly say meh or it's bad. I'll see it regardless because it's a superhero movie.

I agree that it wasn't that great. So far it's the weakest of the superhero movies this summer. X-Men and Thor have been much better. It was an enjoyable watch, but ultimately a letdown.

illuminati symbolism through out from what she's saying. in occultism fear is considered the enemy and an impediment to spiritual progress. ryan reynolds in tights always sounds worth seeing to me even if the movie sucks

Thinking back on the comic books i used to read, GreenL did kinda stand out from the other superheroes w/ his ring and that green aura

I'm a Lantern fan so I'll probably still go check this film out.  Almost every review I've heard more or less sounds like yours: not a bad film, but not fantastic either. To be honest I'm still a bit surprised Warner/DC even made a stand alone GL film considering they have Superman and Wonder Woman at their disposal and people have been virtually screaming for new films of those characters.
