I love anything Buddy sang, but there is a story behind this. Listen to Hank Ballard and the Midnighters version of SEXY WAYS; it's the same song but Buddy wrote different lyrics to it. Listen to the Angelic Gospel Singers' I'LL BE ALRIGHT. Buddy wrote the lyrics to True Love Ways and used the melody of this one. In fact; The Angelic Gospel Singers' version was played at Buddy's funeral.
