The Execution of Mary, Queen of Scots

Clip on the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots which occurred on the morning of 8th February 1587 in the great hall of Fotheringhay Castle. Though buried at Peterborough Cathedral, her body was later reinterred in Westminster Abbey, in a special tomb erected for her by her son James VI of Scotland and I of England.


The beautiful song playing in the background is a rendition of the folk song The Three Ravens, performed by Sarah Leonard. Im tempted to just post the song as it is really lovely.
