Mezzo or Soprano, does not matter, I know which Cecilia is brilliant in any character whom it sings and interprets, CHEER BRAVE, BRAVE CECILIA!!!

cecilia is able to sing also soprano roles!!! Of course it sounds a little bit darker but her range is remarkable!!!

She can handle it!!!

@papagena92 But Despina is traditionally a soprano role too! Indeed, it was sung mostly by soubrettes throughout the 20th century, and doesn't sit nearly as low as Fiordiligi. Anyway, I love Bartoli in both roles, but particularly as Fiordiligi.

A ver, seamos consecuentes, en la época no existían las mezzosopranos, de hecho se estila que la dorabella la haga una mezzo, pero en el libreto pone que las tres cantes son sopranos.

Y por tesitura no se puede decir nada, porque en el Per pietá la soprano se pasa la mitad del aria cantando un la grave.

Lo que si que se puede decir aquí es que va un poco rápido no????

True, true... back in Mozart's day there was no difference between a mezzo or a soprano (the term was not used), you either had a soprano with a better lower or upper register. Cecilia is great in some soprano roles... not all.... but I do love her as a Mezzo... or soprano with a great lower register... IoI - She is just amazing
