@SauceCaptain That was the agreement at camp David, to essentially pay Egypt and Israel to stop fighting and keep the Canal open and its been a great investment (could you even begin to relize what would happen to the world's economy it the canal was closed). 30 billion over 10 yrs is chicken feed for a country with a 15 trillion dollar a yr economy and we pay Egypt almost the same amount- its a trivial amount. Today the news broke that Obama has promised at least another 30 Billion Dollars of military aid to Israel ove the next 10 years ... why are we helping these people? I work for a vacation property in a ski town where nearly all the owners are wealthy jews from NY and LA.
