People just seem to dismiss this subject straight away with no thought what so ever.

It is ridiculous how some people laugh at the idea of life on other planets. I really do not see what is so funny about the idea that we aren't alone in this huge universe. I laugh at those who doubt the idea of life on other planets.

there must be life on other planets - especially the ones with a sun like ours, most likely the inhabitants are at the same technological level as us Humans - am not buyin into wee grey men pop folklore until I see one - there is higher intelligentce which can communicate via telepathy, best examples are St Joan of Arc & St Francis of Assissi - also more plausible that SETI may have received contact but this is just hearsay - check out kid's 70s tv show on Youtube called Chocky

There are countless reports from military officials, pilots and other trained observers which just can't be done denied. The bulk of information is simply to great for every story of UFO's and Grey's to be a hoax or delusion. I respect your opinion but i feel that the countless number reports can't just be denied. I've been looking into this subject and presenting UFO Radio for many years now and i assure you i would not be doing this if i did not feel highly passionate about the subject.

Geeze, that skeptic guy (Shermer?) is just bleating on like a child with his fingers in his ears yelling "la la la la!" Everyone else can sit there respectfully and wait their turn, but Shermer just -has- to get the last word in, he has to make sure you can't even hear the words that any of his opponents are saying. Though I don't agree with Friedman's take on Lazar, his curiosity for hard facts and probing curiosity make him a great addition to the team. There are all types of characters in the quest, each with a strength.

when stan kind of yells at shermer, "you're making proclamations, you're not doing investigation!...," it looks like he's not too far from whackin' shermer over the head with his book. a bit funny, but i can see stan's point about shermer wanting the hardest of hard evidence (nothing wrong with that), while totally writing off and ignoring other kinds of evidence which are valid in courts of law and the softer sciences. shermer is too cocky, arrogant and smug for my taste.
