Alberta (118th) Avenue is a major East West artery in Edmonton Alberta, a city of about a million located in Western Canada. The 'Ave' as it is fondly nicknamed has suffered through some tough times over the past few decades, but has recently seen a resurgence of activity and prosperity.
The area is losing its reputation as a 'stroll', and attracting merchants, boutique type stores, and a thriving arts community. The city and business community have started to put some major improvements in place as you will see on this drive.

okay well, youre not driving around at night time, drive at night time, and drive in the allies beside 118. THAT'LL show the public what really goes on. Yeah our city is trying to make the ave LOOK better, but trust me, from being a kid on the streets, 118 ave, is NOT clean, OR hooker free. I appreciate the work being done, I truely do, But I hate all the lies I am hearing about the ave being a better cleaner place.

Ahh, I miss the good ole' days on the ave.......the magic left when the hookers & drug dealers did. Now it's turning into an artsy area.
