For more, visit http://www.epicurious.com/video Around the World in 80 Dishes takes you to Belgium, with a demonstration of a classic recipe for Moules Marinières (Mussels Steamed in White Wine) prepared by a Culinary Institute of America chef.
what a shame!!! you don't respect the real recipe!!!! not fat needed to coock the mossels!!!!!! just vegetables. Marinière is from France, not Belgium. The same as french fries are not but FRITES, the real ones from Belgium. Moules marinière are cooked on vegetables (without wine)
Sébastien from Belgium.
ps : it must be cooked a bit longer ! it's not sauce you're eating but fat ...
@IcyPhoenixOfMist as a matter of fact, I am a former graduate of the culinary institute of america, and the chef who is on the video Chef Alain Decoster is very much belgian.
Given the chance, I'd bang her!

I laughed so much at this lady presenter, she's so naturally funny. Just love the way she tries to say "mariniere". Priceless. More please
