I can tell you that a 4th class power engineer in Alberta makes around 20-30 bucks an hour in most jobs. In the oil industry you can make 30+. As a 3rd Class power engineer in Alberta you will make around 35-45 dollars an hour. As a 2nd Class, you will make over 50 dollars an hour in most places.
