when the military say "oscar mike" what does it mean, ive heard it in nearly all modern war games but allways been left clueless

Oscar and Mike stand for "O" and "M" in the NATO phonetic alphabet, militaries of countries that belong to NATO use the Nato Phonetic Alphabet, a system of words used in place of letters when something is spelled out, e.g. Alpha for A, Bravo for B, etc.).

"Oscar Mike" stands for "OM", O M stands for "On the Move,"

If the game has been like in the trailer i MIGHT have bought it. But since it was like it is, i didn't. I bought ArmA 2 instead, and it is way better.

Also i love this fake muzzle flash in games like OFP2 , CoD. I never saw a muzzle flash like that on my G36 ^^

@deaconx i presume you are talkingabout things like the length of time it takes for a medic to reach you etc.

If you were in a real combat situation you would not be able to just run into combat with your defibrilator zap them ad run off for a quick boost to your points. The enemy would use the wounded soldier as bait and you would get shot down in no time.
