How to clone Marijuana, Air Layering

When it comes to vegetative propagation, I naturally think of taking a plant cutting and rooting it in soil or in some other media. But air layering is different: It�s done aboveground while the shootis still attached to the parent plant.
As strange as the method sounds, this way of propagation has actually been practiced for centuries

Tools Needed
Sharp Knife
Rooting Compound or Gell
1" Rockwool Block
1 Twist Wrap.
Method,
Remove internodes (branches) scrape the stem, apply rooting gell, fasten rockwool block over scraped area with twist wrap. Cover in tinfoil, wait approx 3 weeks. hydroponics

Keep the rockwool block wet at all times, add a few drops of water if you think it is drying out. : )

Yes just pre soak the rockwool block in water, you can also use sphagnum moss, or even cutting soil.

If you use soil simply twist wrap a plastic bag underneath where the branches were removed and make a cone shape, fill the cone with soil and then twist wrap above where you want it to root making sure the the area is completely sealed. rockwool is used because it can be used in hydroponics or soil and is easy to fasten to the stem.

What's the ph of the water? Your using stone wool so it's must be like 5 right?

You learn something new everyday...great work man, keep it up. Only have 1 tiny issue, next te when you cutting internodes cut away from your body...like striking a match u should never do it towards yourself...safety first. Peace
