Nice tutorial mod Luke!

Damn! I wish I had found you vid earlier Luke, there is a lack of info on AES disassemb;y, repairs and modding. I ended up scratching and denting my console trying to prise it open not realing there were 3 screws under the pads. Thanks for the info! My issue is a scrambled screen when trying any game. Already tested with 2 different PSUs and 2 different AV cables so want to deep clean!

OH I WOULD NEVER ATTEMPT THIS!

@IvoryGecko1993 The Neo 2 PC cable is a waste of time since all Neo games are already dumped and in MAME. With the Neo 2 PC cable you can only dump the P rom.

@lukemorse1 Thank you very much! My Neogeo now looks like a next-gen machine. My Summer Project is almost done thanks to you! To complete it, I would install Unibios 3.0, Brighten up the Joystick, then make a Neo-2-P.C. from an Atari 5200 controller.

Hey, Luke. thanks for the tips on modding, I'll soon post a video response. My color of choice would be rainbow (just to make it look next gen). I faved this video to be a work base for more instructions. At 8:13, You don't have to bend the edges of the wires, you can use shrink tape to avoid contact. Thank you Luke Morse, you saved me a few bucks.

You're fast.
Oh, nice work there! I wish I had some more mods to my units, the only one that's been changed is my american Nes, and that was modded when I got it. Friggin LEDs in the cartridge-slot, if you dont close the lid it'll shoot out like laserbeams ;)
Great vid as always! Top rated! :)

Thanks a ton! Yeah, rip them down and do some stuff like this, it's a lot of fun! . That NES sounds pretty sweet, I wouldn't mind seeing a vid of that. Curious about the lasers LOL

Don't forget the flat spot on I believe the cathode/negative of an LED. It's what I usually use, visually, since it seems most of my LEDs are salvaged and thus lead length is null. :D
What a coincidence with the LED mods, though yours took a few minutes instead of 30 seconds like mine. Great tut!

Yeah, I thought that I tried to explain that in the vid but maybe I didn't. I should watch it again. LOL, yeah, before, during, and after haaha.
