Foreas Base Funny Announcements

Given the early forced closure of this game, I decided to record my favorite moments to relive and share them long after the game had closed.

While at this location in the game Tabula Rasa, if you stop and listen to some of the base announcements, you are guaranteed a laugh.

Yes, I think they did.

There was even an AFS NPC called Relay, a reference to Radar perhaps?

And in my shortish time on Centaurus, there was a roleplaying clan called MASH, with medics and players using the names from the show.

What really?? I was on centaurus, and i haven't seen them. Maybe it was too late or maybe they disbanded earlier. Played the first and the last months. ^^(like October 2008). Pitty, I would have joined them. There was also a NPC Camp, which was a "MASH", with some parodies of the characters.

I think they were active the month before the last, so you missed them.

Which camp was the MASH one?

The month before the last? You mean before shutdown? Then I should have met them. (Played from Oct. to 1. of March 2009 and of course the first months after release)

Anyway ^^, the Camp was on Valverde

Plateau "Camp Resistance" :) I think there was this Relay Character. Also Hawk was there and Hot Lips... :D

I'm not sure exactly when myself, the time kinda blurred towards the end,

But it seems like that clan never really got started, so maybe work on it was abandoned.

Was Camp Resistance the one closest to the destroyed Forean Village, where you had to retrieve that sacred tome?

That was actually the same camp where Relay was. Everyone in there was a M*A*S*H reference.

I miss this game. I even managed to miss the finale event. D:

But thankfully, I managed to download the announcements while I still had a chance. Rest in peace Tabula Rasa! You were a God among games.
