Churnet Valley Railway 6th Dec 09

First weekend in December we visited Churnet Valley Railway to catch the S160 5197 before her ticket ran out. Unfortunately it was not to be as she failed that morning the 5th, a vain attempt was made later that day and the footage at the end and start of this film shows her during a steam test on the 6th which she failed again, so this is likely to be the last footage of her in steam for some time. Sitting in her place for the weekend was GWR 5199.

Bad luck, I was there for the S160 that day too, but went home...
