Let's compare Apples to Apples, STX would be more appropriate. If the operator knows what he's doing, you don't feel the shift at all. The shifts are modulated, you simply drop engine speed, and it gears you up.
not the smoothest powershift at all....the Case Magnum's and some of the MX's have the smoothest....18 speed ahead....no range change baby...there amazing
There's about 300 of them running in Western Canada.
You may call em shit because they're not as fancy as your John Deere, or Case IH - they're cheap HP, have the smoothest powershift ever built, and an engine that'll roll through anything.
I run on 8 gal/hr all day long - that's important to me!
Yeah, a bit of wiring trouble at first, big deal. The 701's been good to us, and that's really the only person it needs to impress ;-D
ok! the reason i say that some of them are worth crap is because i live in louisiana down here in america, and over here, a belarus is considered junk.
I grew up in these tractors, they are simple machines, that are easy to repair and can take a beating. They start easy and shift smoothly. love them

If you've never seen any, then how do you know?

Not at all what??? STXs are direct competitors to the Kirovets... 4wd to 4wd. MX's are FWA tractors.
