a beautiful song from mr. colin hay, a magnificent artist and songwriter. I first heard this song, as many people did, on the soundtrack to the movie Garden State. its just amazing and I hope you enjoy. I thought the audio came out particularly well in this one.
I just don't think I'll ever get over you.colin hay
I drink good coffee every morning.
it comes from a place that's far away.
and when I'm done I feel like talking.
without you here, there is less to say
I don't want you thinking I'm unhappy
what is closer to the truth
is that if I lived till I was a hundred and two
I just don't think I'll ever get over you
I'm no longer moved to drink strong whiskey
cos I shook the hand of time and I knew
that if I lived till I could no longer climb my stairs
I just don't think I'll ever get over you
your face it dances and it haunts me
laughter still ringing in my ears
I still find pieces of your presence here
even..even after all these years.
I don't want you thinking that I don't get asked to dinner
cos all I have to say that I sometimes do
and even though I may soon feel the touch of love
I just don't think I'll ever get over you
yes, if I lived till I was a hundred and two
I just don't think I'll ever get over you.
This reminded me sooo much of "Never Think" by Robert Pattinson...the guitar chords especially. Very beautiful!

hi Dave! Sounds great. Do any of the brothers play guitar besides you? I bought an acoustic guitar and was going to take lessons from the music store. All I can play right now is ode to joy and a few other beginner songs, and like the C and G7 chord (not very fast either!) lol.
