  • Most. Excellent. I will be keeping an eye on your channel for updates.

  • @davidr64yt Make sure to keep an eye on the message board in the info area underneath the video. The developers post regular updates there.

  • Hope it can support Tetris Attack!

  • @jevansturner What a great idea! I hope they're able to support additional games like this.

  • @Xband411

The Japanese version of "Tetris Attack" was "Panel de Pon" ...officially supported by XBAND on the Super Famicom too.

  • @jevansturner I knew that Puyo Puyo was supported on the SFC, but had no idea about Panel de Pon. Cool.

  • I was wondering Who was the very first person on the #1 spot on the first top 10 for super street fighter 2 for sega genesis xband?

  • @Xband411 will there be a fee for using it and will you use it on the snes or pc

  • @jevansturner I understand where you're going with this. I'm one of the 2 lead developers on this project. In fact right now i'm doing most of the Interface and Alpha code. This project is most definitely going to get rewritten. For now we are 'rushing' a beta version to see how the outcome will be. It won't be perfect, it won't be extraordinary... But it will definetly make you feel like you were sitting at your console again during what we consider to be the golden era of online gaming.

  • @jevansturner The developer mentioned that there was someone doing the ripping in a higher quality... that person happens to be me.

He specifically requested that the files I create be MP3s. In fact, I actually used the SPCs to produce those MP3s, and he's aware of that. Unfortunately, I don't have that same luxury for the sound effects or any of the Genesis sound, as I haven't been able to find a .GYM yet.

  • I don't have time to register for the messageboard yet, but I noticed a developer said he "re-ripped the music in higher quality."

Why not use one of the existing code libraries for SPC playback (SPC = SNES sound processor)? There are lots of free code libraries available to support chiptunes and SPC emulation. The music data would take far less storage and memory than "ripped" audio, and it would sound 100% original.
