Correct!
But it is no sufficient for stabilize a long time.
The most important is the process to make react the gyroscope in order to prevent the precession effect that is not appropriate for a robot.
Precession is induce by the external torques like the movement of the robot and the unperfect centering of the gravity center of the robot
