I'm pretty sure the Space Colony Ark battle between Sonic and Shadow was intended to be exactly like the Stardust Speedway battle from Sonic CD. The dark eery background and the falling platforms. Does make sense.

@ahmedj97 It was pretty funny how Sonic's Sonic Wind attack was non-affective to me when I use Metal's sheild.
