This was the first polo tournament I've ever been to... It was exciting! This sport is so extreme though!!! The riders are aggressive and the horses that super exhausted... I felt bad. See, I love the fact that I was looking at horses, but I didn't like the way they were treated - after the game, the animals were panting and sweating like no other :(
I took a lot of photos at the game, here are some of them. The song in the background doesn't go too well with the pictures, yet I think it goes well with what some of the horses were thinking at that time... Or at least with what I'd be thinking if I were a horse playing polo...

You have to be tough at a sport to succede. I find this sport amazing to watch, I'm a Wrestler and I know abuse and its what I go through in a light training practice therefore people who don't know the sport need to STFU.

@mojojopopeye I've been riding for 8 years. I don't do polo, or know anyone who does. I'm sure they love to run. But sometimes, they mistreat their horse. Now, don't get all mad and start being like ' oh what do you know?!". SOMETIMES they are mistreated. Kbye.

@mojojopopeye There polo ponies they were born to do this. And thats why they are smaller so that they are good at it. They would not do it if they did not want to.

I think all those who are against the sport are ignorant and prolly havn't even sat on a horse in thier life. Yes sum horses are abused but thats thier masters fault, not the fault of the game or anything else. Polo horses are athletic and love a good run.

Haha people who think they're abused. Instead of criticizing the sport, which is totally humane, how about going after the abusive owners of horses in all areas? That would seem more logical to me. Polo horses are treated like gold and for good reason; most chill horses ever.
