I used to blow quarters on this game back in the day. I would always play with guy, cuz he was a real good at kicking ass. But, it wasn't til Street Fighter 2 came out that I started getting better at handling on these beat'em up arcade games. Still, used to have a lot of fun at these games, even though I wasted tons of quarters on them:)

The sound Haggar makes when he does his 360 clothesline is the greatest manmade sound ever!

Capcom really did have the edge on fighting games in the late 80's and the early 90's. As with Streetfighter 2, this game was absolutely mind blowing when it came out. After wandering arcades playing things like Double Dragon and Gang Wars my jaw dropped when I first saw this in '89. Great stuff!
