Britney Spears' manager quits

Britney Spears' manager is calling it quits. The management company released a statement yesterday saying "current circumstances" have made it difficult for them to do their job. Hours before the announcement, the pop star lost another part of her support team. Spears' attorney in the custody battle with Kevin Federline has reportedly stepped down as well. Federline is seeking primary physical custody of their two kids.

Actress Mary-Louise Parker is welcoming a new addition to her family. Her rep tells People magazine she adopted a baby girl from Africa. No other details were given. The "Weeds" star also has a three-yea- old son with actor Billy Crudup. The two broke up before he was born.

Rapper 50 Cent has canceled several concerts in Europe. His rep is giving no reason for the decision. The shows were intended to promote his new solo album "Curtis." This comes a week after the rapper vowed to end his solo career if Kanye West's new album "Graduation" outsold his recent release. The sale numbers come out tomorrow but early figures show West in the lead.

Singer Barry Manilow is speaking out against one of "The View" co-hosts. In a statement to TMZ the singer says he disagrees with Elisabeth Hasselbeck's conservative political opinions and think's she's "dangerous." Manilow canceled an appearance on the ABC talk show...planned for today...because he says he refuses to share a stage with her.

Fashion week is in full force in London. Celebrities like singer Lily Allen and actress Joan Collins have attended some of the fashion shows. Vogue's editor in chief Anna Wintour was front and center to check out the newest trends. Designers like John Rocha, Julien Macdonald and Luella showed off their upcoming clothing lines. Fashion week kicked off over the weekend and goes throughout this week.
