Broadcast: TODAY TONIGHT (1 March 2010)
The Australian Government and The Opposition Party both voted NO for a senate inquiry despite the various serious accusations made by ex-members of the Church of Scientology (such as people losing their life savings, forced abortions and separation of families Disconnection).
However, numerous politicians (and the victims) were outraged by the overall No decision - and the fight for a senate inquiry into the crimes of Scientology will run on.
COS can run, but they can't hide forever...

its amazing how scientology continues to get away with its criminal activities and immoral policies while remaining tax exempt.
Its refreshing to see senator xenophon fighting the good fight and doing what other politicians are too weak and fearful to do.
Keep up the good work Nick

@cosmosgato Probably dead-on with that comment.
Rudd is a brown-nosing conservative. Any one that can pay him will obtain his dubious loyalty.
They play at being better than the liberals that do the same thing but... both sides are just as whacked out and greedy. >.>

I don't know about Australia but here in the USA my guess would be $cientology opened up the checkbook.
