@oma51511 If you are a citizen of the US or not doesn't change how our laws aply to criminals. These people aren't in any foundimental way different from say a drag cartel in how they do things. The only difference is their goal.

You miss the point entirely! If terrorists are brought to civilian courts, they would be given the same protections under the law as an American citizen. A terrorist is not a citizen, and his crime is not a civil matter!

True. And yes, you can put the Supermax full of Guantanamo terrorists (otherwise known as psychologically and physically damaged inmates) next to me and my family. After...what...7-8 years of torture in our lawless offshore gulag, I doubt they're much of a threat any more. Many of them can barely speak, many have regressed to a child like state.
Oh, and a large percentage are acknowledged now to have been completely innocent...not that anyone gives a fuck about that.
