  • NASL was the best league ever. MLS does not even compare. NALS was so hilariously American, unprofessional, and had a lot of even worse teams than MLS. xD

  • USA Network was mostly a sports channel in the early 1980's. They covered NASL MISL NBA College Sports, Tuesday Night Fights, Pro Wrestling from the Capitol Center and MSG and other events. The non-sports programing was Night Flight, Pre School cartoons and the ENglish Channel

  • @Fattaman Yes but even Neeskens and Cryuff were part of the American circus. I guess the Dutch don't mind being unprofessional and getting paid in US dollars, no class what so ever!

  • RODNEY!!!

  • Don't forget MLB.

  • NASL was a very entertaining League but wasn't run very well

  • @FCnewyorkESC-- dude, that was everyone that had been in a Miller Lite commercial for years. Every joke was an inside joke. You had to be there.

  • Why did USA drop Sports Coverage?

  • Winston Dubose!

I was a Tampa bay kid...the names Dubose and Wegerle take me back.

  • That Miller Lite commercial was a classic!

  • because its large an investment to make to get into the top league, only to get sent back.

    the NASL is back though
