In this video I talk about how we label successful people visionaries - and people with dreams - dreamers, slackers. I attempt to fill in the gap in the two - as they are inter related.
i remember my history class being asked in the 8th grade about our dreams for our future. The best answer I heard came from a kid I didn't really like, but changed the way I thought about him. His dream was to get a factory job right out of high school and go to the bars every weekend with a 4X4 pick-up truck that had a bumper sticker that said "I don't take shit from no one!" I'm pretty sure I've seen him at the bar before, and I pray he got his bumper sticker.
I can honestly say this video states a true message. Yes it takes time and hard work and sacrifices but if you keep you nose to the grind you will succeed.
Sadly, most people don't understand that dreams change with age. The important thing is to never stop reaching for our dreams. No matter how far away they may seem or how difficult they may be to reach!
Ironically enough, we cannot get past the labels. We gotta use them. You did in this very video. The distinction is when we use them with malice and hate.

Dude it is really damn hard to consider yourself a visionary in today's day and age. Everything has been done. Everything has been discovered.

the way i see it, dreams are manifested after work, study, and following the examples of others who have done it before us.

Dreamers become achievers and achievers are what made this country great.
