Listen, learn and evolve as Lincoln, the Channel for Higher Self, shares his experience and knowledge about how to correctly live with a human body while in this world. Our human body is made up of 3 distinct layers or bodies - the physical body, the emotional body (astral body), and the mental body (causal body). Together these three layers create our manifest experience here on Earth. Beyond these 3 layers and flowing within them is our Spiritual Self - the creative Consciousness that I AM.
Learn how these 3 layers of your self interact, communicate and change in response to each other and our environment. This interview is full of ancient spiritual knowledge, ancient healing practices, and ancient wisdom.

I wanted to ask you a little more about jook and good foods to eat living in eastern PA. Howw do you make jook? I know you need a crok pot-rice-beans but are their different variations? How many times a day and what do you feed your body? (Just curious) I can't find too much legit information on chinese medicine on the internet.

@OmmmYogi Jook - when made properly - is a medicine that includes foods, herbs and spices that properly nourish all the energy channels in the body to create balance. The ingredients are selected based on the individual person's energetic balance and will be modified as a person's health and energy balance improves.
Jook will contain all the necessary components of a balanced diet (energetically and biochemically) in one meal. The same meal is eaten for meal - called a mono-diet.

@ChannelHigherSelf Thats incredible. I'll look into that book of jook. Since I've made that comment earlier I've gotten a crock pot and currently have long grain rice-tumeric-beans-fresh cilantro cooking in it just to try it out until I recieve further information. Thank you though for this information. I will, very soon, send you a donation to show my appreciation and thanks.

@OmmmYogi Your current mix is very close to Kitchari - the Ayurvedic version of Jook. You can add some more spices to your mix to balance the energetic properties of the herbs. Google Vasant Lad Kitchari to get more info. Vasant Lad is a very well known and respected Ayurvedic instructor and author in America.
Kitchari generally has 4 variations - one for each dosha type and one neutral type. However a person can basically modify the herbs to their needs.

@OmmmYogi Jook is more complex than Kitchari. The Book of Jook will review dozens of different recipes, explaining the various properties of traditional herbs used in jook.
The idea is that when you know the properties of herbs and foods, you can be your own mix-master and modify your meals to the different seasons, locations, and lifestyle experiences. Everything is energy. Learning this science is very valuable.

I've possessed a human body for about 22 years and just now have I realized what is inside of me and what happens during digestion and how the organs work. I've been reading the Tao of healthy eating-it's been opening me up to so many new perspectives on eating and the body in general. I almost feel sorry for my spleen for what I've done to it LOL- so many times I would I binge eat on cashews/peanuts/figs etc. Now that I understand the process a little better its like I almost barely wanna eat
OmmmYogi 9 months ago
@OmmmYogi Most American's suffer from a damaged spleen energy. The Western diet (SAD) is dominated by sweet and heavy foods. Nearly all illnesses of industrialized countries are due to spleen energy damage (deficiency).
Yes when you eat properly you will find that the body needs very little to thrive in optimal health. The other component is proper exercise. Exercise that is not exhaustive will help the body convert yin to yang and improve health.
