hi, i am reasearching natural health and mother nature, eating, raw food or cooked food have there advantages and disadvantages. The reason we enjoy and get comfort from eating warm food is to fetal cognitive memmory, your mothers amniotic fluid is 37C, and you first meal would be your mothers warm brest milk at about 25C ,

Hello RawFoodFamily - On a raw food diet/lifestyle, do people drink warm/hot fruit herbal teas? Thank you, Lots of Love Misscpb xxx

I love your accent . I agree the temperture of food doesn't matter in how your body produces heat . All the wasted energy your body spends on digesting meat your body can instead use to keep you warm .

Even in California I'll get cold 0.0;
...so when i'm in the snowy mountains i'll keep warm by sports, covering my extremities by layering socks/clothes. my husband makes fun of me that i'll buy hot tea & never really drink it but hold onto it :)

Thanks for the video. I was freezing yesterday under the blankets here in alaska.

I agree with you ,but when your winters are -38c it is harder then if your winters are warmer.
Also, I like what you said about natural temperature regulation. I met a girl who is 100% raw and very thin but she said the winters didn't bother her because it improved her ability to tolerate the cold.
I don't use air conditioning and I notice the heat doesn't bother me whereas people dependent on air conditioning alwasy complain about the heat - they have lost their natural tolerance.

I actually panicked and drank a cup of coffee when it got cold but I think just the smell of it made me feel better so it was psychological.
Someone mentioned you can warm stuff up in a dehydrator or let it reach room temperature or drink hot herbal teas as well. Or maybe use ginger and garlic and warming spices.
