@shanearyn We are all Gods children and chrstians; we should be working together, not bickering over small differences which really don't matter in the grand scheme of things. There is no right or wrong way to follow God in Christianity - we must do what fits best for us, and respect other people's beliefs and traditions.

@MenechemShaul The catholic church has its faults, like all churches, even though you may claim otherwise. This is because they all all run by human beings, and humans sin. No denomination is perfect, but it does not matter how you follow God or in which denomination; all that matters is that we try to lead good lives by following the bible and whichever church we choose. All churches preach love, tolerance and forgiveness, which is what we should practice in our daily lives.

@MenechemShaul Go and insult Catholics somewhere else, preferably not at all! It's a world religon with millions of followers, not a cult! We are all Gods children and chrstians; we should be working together, not bickering over small differences which really don't matter in the grand scheme of things. There is no right or wrong way to follow God in Christianity - we must do what fits best for us, and respect other people's beliefs and traditions.

@shanearyn If you really had the Holy Spirit on your side why do you consult the dead (Request the prayers of the dead saints instead of the living saints [We are all saints according to God's Word] ) and violate Isaiah 8?!
-
@shanearyn Those Traditions are mentioned in Scripture not in the Catechism! Nowhere in Scripture are we told that we need frequent reception of Communion for salvation, 'For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' (Romans 10, Acts 2 and Joel 2). In regards to the Cannon there was more than one cannon during the days of Jerome, some with the Duteronicles and some without. You need to do more studying!

@MenechemShaul that's really funny because St. Paul when talking to the Thessolonians writes to "keep to the traditions which I have taught you"
so there is nothing wrong with traditions which have been passed down through the early church fathers and apostles.
also..... if you trust us to have put the Canon together(one n not two...) you protestants took out 7 books at the reformation. So go do some research on sacred scripture. :)

@shanearyn First of all I will say this, its the same thing I tell every Catholic when they through the who Bible argument in my face. Just Because you set the Cannon of Sacred Scripture does not mean you do not twist it! My Faith is solely base on the Teachings of Sacred Scripture and not on the TRADITIONS OF MAN like your church". Amazing Illusions of the church is more like it. I call it like I see it through the eyes of Faith, the 2Timothy3:10-17 approach! Your cult has failed more than once!

@MenechemShaul And with regard to "proof" that the holy spirit is working within the Catholic Church, you tell me "proof" that the Holy spirit was working within all those authors of every book in the bible. Can we prove it? No. I can't sit here and give you great signs and amazing miracles of the Church. I can just tell you my faith in it is what allows me to have hope in it. So I wish you luck and love on your spiritual journey and pray that you will come home. We will be waiting.:)

@MenechemShaul Jesus came to save unrighteous people. What he had to say was not for those who were perfect. Basically he was saying no one is perfect, so because a Protestant Pastor has sex without being married does that mean that he is teaching false doctrine? Of Course not. he's a sinner. and we're a lucky people that have a God that is so Forgiving and forever loving. :)
