DIY: Ombre Hair Tutorial

READ ME, VERY IMPORTANT!!

4 bundles: 2 x 22inches, 1 x 16inches and 1 x 14 inches xox

A quick video showing you how I ombre dyed my hair at home.

NOTE if you are doing this on your own hair and not extensions for the first time, be careful as this is very damaging, I would advice you to get them done professionally.

Ombre can also be from a light colour(roots) to a dark colour. I choose to do it from a dark to light effect.

For lighter results leave it in for longer.


The brand of hair bleach I used is called eternal beauty. I purchased it from my local black afro/carb hair shop.

You can choose to dye the hair with hair dye if you do not want it too light, or use bleach and watch the colour change to your personal preference.

In this video I showed you the two different ways of achieving an ombre effect. You do NOT have to dye it then bleach it.

what is heat protectant??? why do you need it after dyeing your hair?

@RomzieeandDanniee It was used pripor to me blowdrying it...Its is used to protect your hair from heat to prevent heat damage, hence the name heat protectant.
