Gnocchi with Pesto Cream Sauce Recipe

I love to make nice, rich, creamy Gnocchi dished, and this recipe fits the bill. Gnocchi in pesto cream sauce, has a great zip to it, and makes a great entree or app. The gnocchi are little pillows of pasta that have a great texture and feel. For this recipe, I skipped making my own gnocchi and used store bought - but there many great gnocchi options in the stores.

The pasta sauce is the focus here. It's really nothing more than my standard recipe for pesto, which I'll show you how to incorporate with some cream to make the pasta sauce.
