Mopar 604 !!! Oh he was a founding member of the 'chaos brothers drag racing team' formed in 1980's in honour of and being inspired by the fulham fallout album. other member was me and yes we are brothers. The Lurkers were a f*****g superb live band. I saw you at the Roxy & the Nashville Room in 1977. Also once at the Marquee (if memory serves).
One night you jumped into the audience - mid song - and punched a twat who threw a beer glass into your kit, then got back on stage and carried on playing. Great entertaining stuff.
Where are Pete, Nigel & Howard now ? I'd pay big money to see the original line-up.

@ej1mshan We were twenty years old when we go together ej1mshan - I loved British pop (and American pop), The move, The kinks, The idle Race etc - songs with stories and humour - and as for soundnding like a Clash demo you cheeky sod - if you didn't like pop stuff, ie The monkeys, how come you like The Clash - led by busness manager - corporate, put togther by adults to sell to children etc - Pete (Esso, original drummer in The Lurkers)
