  • my westinh house tv ($850) quit qorking in january. I sent it back to them. and it is May. STILL no replacement. They only send refurb tv's, too. DO NOT buy a Westinhouse. You are LUCKY if they last 6 months to 2 years! Spend a little more and get a sony, or something good. Westinghouse does nto honor warranty's. I have been thru hell!! with them thus far.

  • contact the BBB... I got a new TV, not refurb

  • I plan on getting one, but I will definately get the warranty!

  • Make sure and keep your receipt too!

  • yeah! i'm having the same crap happen to me...what should i do?

  • I had my TV for 12 months, still under warranty. The next two TV's they sent me did the same thing. I ended up writing a complaint to the better business bureau. They sent me a brand new TV. So far this one is working out ok.

  • news flash, do ur research before you buy a tv. Its not that hard. The warranty's on ALL TV's are 1 yr. Sony, samsung, etc, with the exception of insignia with 2yrs unless u buy an extended warranty. Its not just a westinghouse problem, its a lcd/led problem. They are disposable. you pay for what you get for. If you didn't notice the NAME brands are more expensive. fyi, i know westinghouse sucks because i used to work for them. the best off brand is dynex, and maybe vizio

  • is this an LED?

  • IRT!!

  • had the same problem with my 26". was a simple fix for me. take the back cover off and the board on top has a chip with a heat sink on it. i had the tv on an applied pressure to the top of the heat sink and BAM!!!! picture cleared up good as new.you can either shim the heat sink or bend the metal rod up so it applies more pressure to the chip..good luck all

  • No esperarias que esta mierda de Tv funcionará no? Juas juas

  • @dontbuywestinghouse thanks you stopped me :)

  • I have a 32" Westinghouse tv that is two years old. It's already broken (I get those glitchy colored lines after the tv get too hot). Anyway, Westinghouse is no help. They ignored my email. I will not buy any products from them again. I am sorry to see so many had the same problem as me. What a terrible company to let this happen to so many people and not care.

  • westinghouse is THE WORSE product and costumer service ever.after only one year of use, my 32 inch dies and they don't honor the warranty cause they say there's no parts and the warranty is limited.one year and the tv already to trow away.it was 380 dollars it will cost me 300 to fix.find a single customer of westinghouse that actually is happy with the product or the customer service, just browse a bit,and read all this hundreds of people fed up with it. DON'T BUY WESTINGHOUSE!

  • I bought a westinghouse for 400 dollars 2 years ago,it just broke and it will take 300 dollars to fix, very dissapointed, and I took the tv for fix and appraisal to 4 different shops...all made fun of me for being such a sucker, aparently the hole world knows that you can't trust westinghouse, there's 0 customer service, only a phone number where you record your message and a webpage where you give a bunch of personal info, for nothing, never called back.that's my experience with westinghouse/crap.
