  • Yum!

  • I made this several times and it is fabulous. I also did some modification, mixing in maple syrup to olive oil and using curry powder and paprika as seasoning. Best invention of my life. Thank you for the inspiration!

  • I have made it twice now. The first time I put the asparagus directly on the pan like you did in the video, the second time I put it on a rack so that it was slightly raised which allowed the heat to more evenly cook the bacon. I also used onion salt the second time. I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks Maria!!!

  • That looks good, I can't wait to make it myself. When cooking bacon on the grill you need to keep a close eye on the food because the bacon grease has a tendency to start burning very easily when it drops down onto the charcoal. In only a few seconds your bacon wrapped food can go from being incredibly tasty to not being edible.

I like to cook oysters wrapped in bacon on the grill.

  • May be good for a club but for a good appetizer they need to be smaller with a sprig of rosemary inside and forget the thyme just use powdered garlic

  • Maria, love your videos! I am going to surprise my wife with this recipe. When she comes home from work this will be waiting for her. Oh, it's so good.

Glad to see your videos again. I hope you never stop making them.

  • Hey! Been missing your vids! :)

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

In my neck of (S. Germany) the woods,

    white (buried deeper, no chlorophyll)

asparagus is a local, deified, delicacy.

But I do prefer the (harder to find) green

variety, which has a stronger flavor.

And, of course, Bacon always rocks! ;D

  • Cool, I was looking for a video on how to make those.. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • These look amazingly good!

    Great recipe!

  • Soooooooooo GLAD you're back!!! Thanks for another GREAT recipe/video!
