  • did you record it with a cop of water?

  • @MidSouthMorphs Ahh nice man. I bet that thing could handle so much nitrous though, That's cool though, keep your car N/Asty. Sick.

  • @need2speed94 Just the LSX Short block built to run nitrous and a custom Cam, and ported LS7 top end. Although I choose not to run any nitrous, just going N/A. Love when I beat boosted cars.

  • @MidSouthMorphs Damn man, LSX in a trans-am? bet thats a shitload of fun. Maybe one day ill have an LSX in an fbody. What do you have done to it? motor wise

  • @need2speed94 Haha, so true. I haven't raced anything from Ford yet that could keep up with my Trans Am, it has a LSX454 btw. Only thing that has gave me a fit was a H/C/I 2010 ZO6.

  • @need2speed94 You're totally right. I couldn't agree more.

  • @firebat42 The thing is with blowers... most *street cars dont have wide enough tires to be able to dead hook off the line with a blower, ESPECIALLY with a V8. It's just too much torque for the car to handle to get a great launch. most people work around this by going with a centri blower.. but those have the lag like turbos and their power output is mediocre (generally). And i dont think turbo lag is that bad, only noticeable through 1st gear, after that the turbo is spooled for the most part

  • @need2speed94 Well from what I've learned, superchargers provide low end torque, you feel the supercharger kick in as soon as you step on the gas which is what you want at a 1/4 mile. Turbochargers however take time to kick in (usually around 3.5K rpm, but their boost in power is slightly better than a supercharger. It really depends on what you're car is built for I guess. A supercharger would be good for stop light racing where as a turbo charger is good for racing in general.

  • @firebat42 well that sounds very smart! hah... but I dont think i'd ever do that, im more into turbos. I think that with all this new technology, why use a blower? it TAKES power to MAKE power.. seems really dumb when compared to a turbo ya know?
