the baldness is there because
i have alopecia. and its NOT because of dying my hair pink, it started before i ever dyed my hair.

AND dying it doesnt make it worse, cuz it falls out anyways, even if you dont dye it.

and

helloohh? i dont CARE if my hair falls out.
proving a point is more important than doing what other people want me to do.

...hmm... do you think someone can tell you that you cant be yourself is someone chopped your leg off?
SAME THING. so you're telling me i cant be myself just because of a few bald spots?

for all of you that think this is "trendfollowing" its just a HAIRSTYLE. nothing else.
wtf, humans are not supposed to look the same.

im not changing the title of the video, hun :]

YOU DONT HAVE TO READ THIS PART IF YOU DONT WANT TO:

Alopecia Areata
This disease shows up as the sudden appearance of round or oval patches of hair loss. These patches are completely slick, bald, or smooth without any signs of inflammation, scaling, or broken hairs. They appear overnight, or sometimes over a few days.

Alopecia areata is thought to be caused by the body's immune system attacking the hair follicles. At any given moment about one in 1,000 children has alopecia areata. About 25% of these children also have pitting or ridging of the nails.

With appropriate treatment, a large percentage of patients will have all of their hair back within one year -- many sooner. Children with alopecia areata should be under the care of a dermatologist. About 5% of children with alopecia areata will go on to develop alopecia totalis -- the loss of all the hair on the scalp. Some of these will develop alopecia universalis -- the complete loss of body hair.

Diagnosis: Currently there are no conclusive diagnostic tests for alopecia areata. Dermatologists diagnose alopecia areata by a process of elimination of other hair loss causes and the close examination of the bald patch itself. Typically, the initial alopecia areata lesion appears as a smooth bald patch, sometimes within 24 hours. Some people feel a tingling sensation or pain in the affected area.
The scalp is the most commonly affected area, but alopecia areata can be present in any area where there is hair on the body. Hair pull tests are sometimes conducted at the margins of lesions. If hair is easily pulled out, the lesion is active and further hair loss should be anticipated. Since alopecia areata is fairly distinctive, it is usually correctly diagnosed with a simple visual examination.

Treatment: There is no cure for alopecia areata and, unfortunately, since there is little understanding of the disease, there are no FDA-approved drugs or treatments specifically designed to treat it.

  • It's not bravery that made her post this video, it's just that she didn't because she looks at herself as a normal regular human being so stop saying its bravery like shes not human -_- kthanks

  • I have alopecia as well. Luckily I only have a small nickle sized spot. You are very pretty and brave for making this video :)

  • Lol I Know Its Not Funny But The Comments Are Making Me Laugh Kid Got Balls I Wouldn't Be Able To Do That!!

  • if you have damaged hair, the last thing you shoulddo is tease!

  • I really dislike how people are asking what's wrong with your hair, when the answer is obvious and right in front of them. You have a lot of courage for posting this, and I admire people like yourself.

If you all took the time to read the little bit in the description box, you'd see that she has alopecia. If that word is too big for you, it means her hair falls out sporadically. Now please, if you're here to hate on someone for an ego boost, just leave.

  • @xfishwings LOOL, :c seriously..
