1080p looks nice, I bet it eats through memory though. Funny how the wide angle on 720p makes your windscreen look concave.

I want this one!!! :)

i like these videos showing drivers common mistakes and how to improve your daily dogging of objects coming at you... i mean daily driving...

Well I've only had mine fitted a couple of days and already I've been forced to brake from 60 to 30. May need to up the resolution to 1080p though (or brake later :D ) to get the registration plates :D
I'd have posted it as a 'video response' but Tony doesn't approve them ;-)

@busog97641 Yes, I'd like the camera somewhere discrete, just so that I can just get in the car and drive, same when stop and get out. Minimum fuss is what I want.
Currently I have it between the two seats, but it captures too much on the interior (similar view to my current uploaded videos with my old system).

@JohnnyCmr2 Do you mean removing it for safety/security reasons?

yeap 720 is the way to go, 1080 nice as it is, as said 720 captures more.. :)

I got that same set up from Santa. Only just tried it yesterday so not had much chance to play with the settings. I'm surprised that changing the resolution makes a difference to the field of view :S
I still need to figure a way of setting the camera to the front in such a way that I don't have to keep removing it when parked...

Very nice, thanks for the outing.
:-)
I use 720p on my recording setup because of the extra field of view. My logic is there is more likely to be something happening to the sides than far up in front that you'd want to capture.
Also it will use less memory as mentioned.

@burdenstephen I agree. While 1080p looks nicer, I have set up my system to capture at 720p because like you aid, it captures more areas.
