  • Openness IS Happiness

    It's as simple as that.

Allow your life to flow and the world becomes your joy. The Law Attraction works as long as you are still seperated from the state you desire. Once you have recognized that you already are what you desired, there is no more need of attracting anything. Remain in Silence, open up to your own Beingness and open your eyes to become aware of the perfection of creation, the glory of your Self.

  • The functioning of karma is the most difficult Buddhist doctrine to fathom. That is why Buddha alluded to it but didn't try to explain it beyond the simple "you reap what you sow" formula that is useful for moral behavior. Beyond that, the law of karma is as intricate and complex as the structure and function of DNA and mapping the the genome. The danger of simplistic versions of a law of attraction is that it objectifies the ego structure of the self image in a questionable manner.

  • @ludosophicus Openness is NOT necessarily happiness. Openness will open you up to all emotions. Observing those emotions and thoughts in a non-judgemental way will just stop the second dart. i.e. you won't be unhappy about being unhappy, you'll just be unhappy.

Some spiritual people spread a myth that bliss will become permanent once a certain state is reached. This is not true. Spaciousness from emotions may occur which will stop a lot of suffering, but NOT permanent bliss.

  • @ludosophicus ] Well said.

  • Oh he put out alright, in the end little head ruled Big Mind

  • If only this guy actually knew something about what Buddhism teaches on Karma. As for him being a Zen master...he's been forced to resign and can no longer wear the robes or call himself a Zen teacher, let alone a Zen master.

  • @DonkeyofHeaven I'd say it's fairly easy to understand once you understand how our minds work but in my view the "application" of law of attraction is used more as "a way out" than understood as a law. There's a line between what has much proof for directly being caused by you and what you see as proof of karma when projecting an idea onto the world. Meaning you CAN see it objectively but many see everything falling into a view they have constructed, mistaking the whole world for karma.

  • people who aren't ready to teach should not teach

  • Abraham-Hicks is the best place to get an understanding of the LOA. They cover nuances of the Law that most teachers haven't articulated. Meditation and "allowing" is an important part of it.

  • I'm glad it's not in the constitution then
