Read about him in Wikipedia. No one can say that he is not a legand, he is only indian singer to get UNESCO music award and invited by Russian govt to sing in 11 russian cities, well he has performed in all cities in world more than ANY OTHER INDIAN SINGER. Remember his peak period was 1970s and he is now 70 year old.

the songs should be fortunate enough to have been released in the voice of dasettan.......even at this age no one can match his standards even now....may the almighty bless our loving dasettan....

there is nothing to show on a stage for a singer. I think song is to listen, not to see.

Dont be jealous...no one can sing like Dasettan..ividuthe cheruppakkar ellam koodi try cheythal ithinte nalu ayalvakkathu ethathilla....Dasettan rules be it the stage or playback or classical..His voice is with direct signature of God...in his words Eka Daivam!!!

Singing pros cam sing well into their 70s..don't you worry about that!!. The great Yesudas has a great voice and can sing well into your 80s .. not a problem!. By the same token, where there are glitches I like to voice them. Its a legendary voice no doubt and I pray for it to stay that way!.
