Hahaha wow that's definitely not a high efficiency pool heater!

@TehMG, agreed. It was so heavy and big it had to be delivered by rail back in the late 60s. Little do you know are not see that I making this cooking show standing on a ladder to reach the top of the pool heater. It's all heavy duty cast iron construction and uses natural gas to power it. The tempature of the surface I cooked on is around 400 degrees comparable to any flat iron grill.

I have never seen this before, man you have some of the most unique ideas around, the description you give just sounds so yummy...leathery, rusty and full of minerals! Oh by the way you can't get tetanus from rust, as someone else was saying, it's just that tetanus bacteria grow in areas that iron may rust..actually I bet that heater is sterile, on top anyways. Dirty, maybe, but I doubt a single bacteria will live in that environment. Cool video as always, every vid I watch I become more a fan!

@dovetastic with great respect for you and your ways, I really doubt it's the most humane way. It may have been humane 1500 years ago, but there's better ways to kill an animal than slitting its throat. Some say it doesn't hurt them. It's a mammal, its got a well developped nerve system, be absolutely positive that it feels pain - or cut yourself with a really sharp blade, won't hurt the first 5 seconds, but then it's a bitch. Eitherway, love your show man - peace.
