@BooJoMan O if he means that, then I absolutely agree. I was listening to Pandora the other day and a song came up that sounded like Pirates of the Caribbean (which already sounds like Gladiator).. then I realized it sounded different, in a bad, less talented way. It was Transformers. And it was all over the place.

@Ninkira i think he means that everyone is now trying to create a dark knight esk soundtrack. And I can see what he means. Most modern films have pretty much the same soundtrack.

This was one of the more darker episodes in the series, which is what made it so awesome!

@auvelier I agree for the most part, but have to point out an inaccuracy- it was actually Christopher Nolan who requested that this time around (his Batman films) that Batman and Bruce Wayne stay without an obvious theme. Hans Zimmer actually did put in certain themes for Bruce, Batman, and the Joker and everyone else, but wrote them so that they weren't obvious or anything "hum" worthy, as to Nolan's request.

@andrewstuk1234 Can I get a link to the page?

@auvelier I totaly agree with everything you said and would like to refelct the sentiment, I have found the new Batman films fairly unerwheming and colourless compared to what this cartoon managed to do in the early 90s and as far as Im concerned this cartoon is the definitive version of what Batman should be, itself inspired by the 1989 film, and Two Faces theme is one of if not my fave from the series

@EDDIEinWAR I know this is an old comment but you're probably thinking of "Appointment In Crime Alley".

This show was way ahead of its time. Every aspect of it, dripped care and craftmanship, and of course the music is no exception. It's so haunting and beautiful at the same time... There are movies with less rich thematic material than this and, in my honest opinion, regardless of how good it is, we have Hans Zimmer and his batman scores to blame on that recent trend of creating "themeless superheroes"
