The standard Mandelbrot fractal's equation is Z=Z^2+C but what happens when you vary the coefficient of C?

When the coefficient is 0, the equation becomes Z=Z^2: a unit circle. However, when the coefficient travels between 0 and 4, we observe some remarkably beautiful transformations: the main body's head is replaced and sheds its branches. Beyond 4, the animation becomes that of a shrinking Mandelbrot, and loses its visual appeal.
