@jayemveeaydee ya if you find yourself not going to reach the wave then you can squeeze out some more distance by leaning forward and pumping the board up and down to keep it afloat

@thompson515 timing and speed is everything in skimboarding. you have to choose the right wave and then run and drop at full speed to make it. check out skim online for some more tips.

to jayemveeaydee thats called pumping and it just keeps your speed up. it has nothing to do with bumps or choppy water its all about speed. and pumping for speed doesnt work on all types of boards. it has to be the rite shape

No pumping definitely helps in bumpy/choppy water. And it has nothing to do with the "right shape".
