There are times when being in a Family can be TOUGH. Now try to imagine the added pressures of WORKING together within that structure, Day in and Day Out. We all do things we shouldn't and Don't do things that we should, regardless of what your roll is within that family. Life is what it is. It's neither perfect nor easy, or one way ALL of the time. I actually liked this preformance .the 2004 tour was another story. Eddie was so wasted that tour, he couldent even play the opening notes to Panama properly, he attempted to freestyle and it was horrible.

It's very evident that David Lee Roth took this tour seriously and Eddie did not. You have to be a major dick to cuss out your teenage son in front of everybody when you are fucked up and playing like shit. I hope Wolfgang can get past the disappointment that is his father; the once great Eddie Van Halen.

Sad part is, it was about this time that Eddie started requesting little bottles of wine in his off-stage cooler. (see the smoking gun website) After the rehab stint that caused him to miss the R&R Hall of Fame ceremony.
Damn shame. I don't care if the guy never plays another note, but he's got to pull it together.
