Roy Lupton takes his birds into the field to find other birds. He is using goshawks. Originally a yeoman or poor gentlemans hawk, the goshawk provides great sport on these little birds as well as a bury of rabbits. This film first appeared in Fieldsports Britain, episode 4.

  • What type of Gos has Roy got on this video?

  • Awesome flights!

  • using ferrets and hawks to hunt.....yeah, this is probably the coolest thing Ive ever seen on youtube.

  • @Cuvac

most hawks are allowed to grow used to other pets they could encounter in the home they are kept such as dogs and cats, mingling it in with a ferret is more difficult but very useful especially for rabbiting.

  • Do the hawks never attack on the ferrets?
