Quake 2 rev2 wii

Heriberto Delgado has released a new build of Quake 2 for the Nintendo Wii. It features Wiimote, USB Keyboard and Mouse support along with an onscreen keyboard for those without them. It also features LAN and Internet play and the game's engine (does he mean data files) can be stored on a SD Card or USB Drive.

There is also no mention if this build is based on the original work by Peter McKay who released them here in this forum thread. I'm not seeking credit for the site, but if they are based on Peter's work he should at least be credited. Anyway, see the features/changlog below.

Features/What's New?
Improved Wii Remote handling (since Q1Rev Release 1). More stable, and more sensitive. A small wrist movement goes a long way. Adjust the sensitivity level with the new "Wii Remote speed" option, next to "Mouse speed" in Options in the Main Menu.
New On-Screen Keyboard, with access to most (if not all) keys of the US keyboard.
Support for the standard Gamecube controller.
Switching to "big stack" in key points in the code, allow for more stable, more smooth movement in the engine.
The engine can be started from either the SD card slot in front of the Wii, or an USB memory stick plugged in any of the USB ports in the back of the console (an improvement since Q1Rev R1).
Experimental, untested support for USB keyboard & mouse.

@dying2l I don't think it does, I couldn't really do a lot with the options for running the game so I doubt hardware mode works.

@UZI9MMAUTO I have nothing to do with this project at all. I was just posting a video of me playing it. I wish I could do stuff like this. If you want to thank the creators of this or anything along the lines of trying to get into contact with them just try using google to find the website. Tehskeen has sadly been taken down long ago.

Yes you can use the Gamecube controller. For the download, just go to the website in my description.

i am glad i got quake 2 for the wii. i loved quake ever since i was a kid.

@fook123 That sucks. It should support hardware mode I know quake gx does.

I don´t know why, but when i finish "The Installation" level, when I push the switchj that says Exit, the Loading screen appears, but after that, the game´s console opens and says

Bad pcx file pics/victory.pcx

pics/victory.pcx not found.

I cannot do anything after that :(

I first downloaded the game via Homebrew Browser, but then I tried downloading with the pc and then putting in the sd card, but nothing changed

@FELIPEPKPK Yes, it's actually easier with the Gc controller than the Wii mode.
