can someone plz help me? i have pokemon platinum on my r4 and when i press y i see the cheat menu but when i activate some of the codes they dont fucking work.. but for every other games the codes work so why not for pokemon platinum? plz answer fast

when I open the cheats menu on my r4i gold i get encounter codes but shiny is missing and after encounter codes the cheat name is invisible
and the worst thing is that none of the cheats work...no matter what i do...HELP PLEASE
